About me

I’m a language aficionado with a BA in foreign languages (French and Spanish, more specifically). I’m currently working as a bilingual administrative assistant (Spanish-English) with a company in my hometown, but my dream is to be accepted into the Master’s translation program at the Sorbonne University in Paris, known to translators, interpreters, and language lovers like me as E.S.I.T. (Ecole Superieure d’Interpretes et de Traductuers).

    Hello there,

Google led me to your site, and I’d like to take the freedom to ask you for some advice:
Do you know of any organisations/websites that serve to connect volunteering translators with bloggers/small companies wishing to have their sites translated? Like here: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/Translating.html , but with a ’system’ for copy editing, rating and rewarding (discounts on services/products of the ‘client’). You think this would be a good idea?
Aimed at clients that otherwise would find the cost for professional paid translation to steep, and wouldn’t bother asking local export organisations for partly sponsorship (lenghty procedure) of such translations.

    Thanks for your time,

    Jiri

We have started a blogroll to help link the translation community to good useful sites and we are particularly keen to help those offices who work in single language pairs with a focused team of professionals from both languages. If you would like to join, please go to the following link, once you join your site will be automatically linked to the site of each other member, resulting in wider internet exposure. We would love to have you. Translators Blogroll
